Spoke to sales manager yesterday & he confirmed that the EAA X-Plan + $750 rebate will work in conjunction with the $1,000 Ford rebate, so I dropped the $40 & generated a PIN & printed the coupon.
Nice little extra that'll pay for the Toyo upgrade!
I have always wanted to build a Factory Five Roadster. I will admit that joining this organization has got me thinking about some kit plane possibilities.
If you guys are like me, you are always looking for extra money off of MSRP. Well, I just received an email stating the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) is now offering $750 Ford Bonus Cash, in addition to X-plan pricing. I'd say that's not a bad deal!
For $40 a year, I'd say that's well worth it if you plan on buying a Ford vehicle.
just wanted to say thanks. Saved me an extra 750 plus 1000 rebate.
Ford Partner website states for X-Plan pricing "For membership-based partner companies, you must provide a membership card that indicates a 60-day minimum membership."
Fine Print "Ford Credit Bonus cash requires Ford Credit financing or lease contract. "
Terms and Conditions "Customer must take new retail delivery from US Ford or Lincoln dealer stock by 1/3/2017. "
So the rules say I would have to be a member for 60 days, use Ford for financing, and purchase from dealer stock. Wouldn't that mean that you can't order it? I have already ordered my truck, it should be delivered in less than 60 days, and I don't plan on financing through Ford. So this wouldn't work for me then I assume.
This whole thing kinds of irritates me a bit. I found a list of hundreds of companies that participate in the Ford Partner program. I am wondering what they have to do to become a partner. Work for or be a family member of an employee of one of these companies and you can get x-plan pricing and now this extra $750 off but Military only gets $500 off, no special pricing.

Do not get irritated, just join EAA and get the Xplan. It takes about 12 week for Ford to deliver a ordered truck. So you got that beat if you order a Truck. Don't sweat the 750. Buy the time you get your truck there will probably be other incentives and now your a X-plan member.

Your ordered vehicle must be delivered to a dealer before you can take possession of it. From the time it is shipped from KTP until you pick it up the vehicle is considered "dealer stock". Therefore, you will be taking new retail delivery of your ordered truck from dealer stock.
Had to get the reading glasses out to read the fine print! Nowhere on the printed certificate does it say anything about having to use Ford financing. This is not "Ford Credit Bonus cash", it is "2016 EAA X-Plan Direct Offer #35602"
It is not a Ford Credit bonus cash therefore you are not required to use Ford financing.
You are supposed to be a member of EAA for 60 days but in the past the dealers have not held you to this or even checked.
You can go ahead and order the truck. As long as you have taken possession of the truck before the deadline you can use the X plan pin number as well as the $750 rebate
