X plan is .4% less than invoice. On a 70k truck that is $280. Add the 750 and you are at $1030. Plus fees are limited to $100

Not exactly.

X Plan= "How it's calculated: Invoice - 0.4% + $275 program fee"

I've got the order sheet for my truck right in front of me and MSRP is $69545.00, Invoice is $65451.56, X Plan is $65464.75, D plan is $62750.56 and A/Z Plan is $62650.56

Forgot about that $275! However you still would get the 750 plus doc fees are limited to one hundred bucks

But his dealer is giving him $800 off invoice, so as long as the doc fees don't come to more than $160 or so he's still better off with their deal.

And I'm sure that doc fee is just that, not including registration and so forth because that can get pricey depending on the GVWR of the truck.

If the bottom line from the dealer is reasonably close I will go with the dealer plan. I don't know why I have an allegiance to their wishes but I do support the independents of the world. If it were a large multi franchise store I would not care so much. We'll see when the paperwork starts churning and the little extra here and there show up. Due to the long wait I am going to go after some more freebies. Already got 2 oil changes up front. Now maybe and upgrade in tires to at least the AT's instead of the AS. New warranty on the Michelin AS dropped from 70K to 50K miles. Looked at an F350 Lariat yesterday at another dealer and it came through with the Continentals. Same size but they sure look small. I think they are left over from the LTD days. I hate the noisy short life Continentals. Maybe I should go try to start that deal today.

Talked to my dealer and they will honor the EAA $750 rebate. Nice savings for a $40 membership!

Thanks for the info, What did you have to provide the dealer for them to accept the bonus cash and xplan?

This may be a stupid question, but do you have to use an X plan pin generated from the EAA membership, or can I use my pin that I generated last month using my MCA membership. (Reason I ask is I have passed the required waiting time from joining MCA. On the highly unlikely chance it is enforced or checked)

You probably need to use the EAA PIN because it is linked to the EAA rebate, but the dealer probably won't care how long you have been a member. I was at invoice with rebate, then saw this thread. Contacted dealer and they said send it over and you are good. Why, because my Xplan is $150 over invoice (padding for dealer). I pay $40 for EAA and the difference of $150, but still come out $500 better than before and dealer makes an extra $150 they were not. But, that is my experience (not all are the Same).

The 750 is tied to EAA membership. You need an EAA membership number to redeem.

This from the rebate document:

This is direct from the EAA website and their Ford Partner program info page. X-Plan + $750 + Customer Incentives. I don't see any issues with that since it's coming directly from this page. I'm military so for now I get an additional $500. Now if the dealer honors all this...I'll find out soon.
