yellowed visors

i have also asked this question on the paint forum...
my 68 f100 is going back together, i am reinstalling the visors which were in good shape except for yellowing(should be wimbledon white or off white), is there a dye that exists i can wipe on the visors to freshen them up? or another way to color them to wimbledon white?

Dupli-Color makes several different paints and dyes, I would try that.

I spray painted mine black many years ago. They are still black.

Dye/paint them per the previous posts.

..They need to be cleaner than clean.

Better be sure to prep/clean any oils, Armor All, etc off of them before applying any dyes/paint or it's going to peel back off aftewards.

Duplicolor spray dye works great! Just make sure they're clean! I even wiped mine with wax and grease remover, after scrubbing with simple green.

Try a magic eraser first

Mine were yellowed in my 72 F100 Explorer (white visors & headliner) and what worked miracles was a Magic Eraser. Restored them to like new really quickly and they're maybe 50c if you buy generics.

It's just a cleaning product. Sort of like a special sponge. Mr Clean® | Magic Eraser Original

They really are magical for cleaning up hard stains, especially if you have kids. Worked wonders on my interior in my bump.
