U-Joints
I'm working on my 68 F250 4x4 and wanted a opinion on my u-joint fit.
I purchased Spicer U-joints 153 and 154 to do all three shafts and when I was getting ready to install the u-joint on the intermediate shaft slip yoke and noticed it does not require very much pressure to push the cups in. The yoke is not damaged in any way and I didn't need to do any cleanup on the bearing cup area before paint prep so I'm wondering if this is normal. I still need to use my ball joint tool to push them in but I can turn the press by hand without a wrench.
Thanks,
CStoyer
