Red is "red"
Been alot of years since i've painted but i can tell ya for a fact RED is probably the nastiest color to spray there is. Red will cover most colors easily but if you spray WHITE over it it'll "bleed through" like crazy. You definitely need a SEALER or preferably a PRIMER under it. And if spraying RED it would be best to spray a RED PRIMER on as it will be easier to cover and will actually enhance the color depth of the paint. Don't know bout other folks but to me RED hangs in the air worse than any other color as well especially if it's an ENAMEL. Definitely need some kind of mask when spraying. Hope this helps.

Assuming you mean red on top ,or white on top, your call. My opinion would be more red than white. After you decide the theme , tell us what it is & we can help from there ..as far a technique, paint all the white first , ,mask off the rest after it is thoroughly dry using a fine line tape & spray the rest , .What color is the truck now ?...
