Sending unit foot gone
SO I have been wanting to do the hutch mod and harpoon mode to my tank for a while. I'm trying to diagnose some other problems also so I drop the tank. My father owned the truck before me I swear I don't think the tank has ever been lowered before. Well I take the sending unit out and only a small portion of the black tube from the top of the foot is clamped to the bottom of that white recirculating filter part. I get a flash light and look in the tank for the broke off foot for like 5 minutes. I got my arm elbow deep in diesel and can not find the part. Could it have dissolved?
