Side mount tank sending unit.
I just bought a 19 gallon side tank for my 73 F250 4x4. It is supposed to be a replacement for the optional steel side tank offered by Ford. Now I need a sending unit. My Ford dealer says he cant get parts for a 73, the guy at pep boys says ford used the same side tank and sending unit on 70's through 80's pickups and that if i get a sending unit for any of those years for the side tank it will work in my tank. Just not to get the sending unit for EFI because I have a carb. What can I get to work with my tank?
