It's 9' by 7'. Just didn't have any idea what it went to. Was thinking about getting it for my 40 1.5 tn

I have one like it on my '51 COE. No idea on the maker, but I have seen quite a few on old GM trucks. Mine came off a 50's Chevy.
Love the rounded corners and ribbed sides. I'd nab it!

Yes it looks in great shape and he just wants 250 for it. Can still see the wood boards under the steel plate

Wish mine was in that nice of shape when I got it. That price is not bad, Is it the right size for your truck?

Pic of mine...

I know of a '46 chevy with that same bed. Pretty sure it was factory installed. Good price, yes buy it!

I like those rounded corners and agree that I have only seen them on Chevy/GMC. The headache rack was definitely added later, probably had stake sides originally.

Plan on removing the plate and replacing the wood. Then add back the stake bed

Is that an access door in the middle of the bed or just a patch?

The one I drove belonged to my boss in the early '80s. It had original tall steel corners at the front of the bed which met the stakesides. They looked all the world like a quartered section from a 55 gallon drum, but smaller. They were factory rolled. This 46 chevy also had a stamped steel rear window guard set into the wood headache rack.
