Creative ideas to add speakers
I m trying to update my audio system and have replaced all the factory speakers with some nice kicker 6x9s in back and some upfront with tweeters. I also have 2 subs hooked to an amp behind the seat. I think it sounds really nice when I have the volume up but would like to add at least add 2 more speakers up front, some where. Im not a fan of the kicker panel type speaker enclosure. Crutchfield has some nice speaker enclosures that I could make work but was wondering if there is anything else. So does anybody have some recommendations, pics, ideas. Would like it to look as "factory" as possible. I realize I will have to add another amp to provide some power to speakers but that's okay with me.
Thanks

I would get a set of the upper door speakers from an 08 and up truck and incorporate those. They are at the mirror cover and make a big difference in the sound. And would look factory. They were part of the "audiophile" stereo package. You can see the just to the left of the steering wheel in this pic.

The small bullet piezo tweeters would help. You can stash them just about anywhere.
That way your door speakers are not trying to do more than just mid range.
I think the less multi task that a speaker has to do the better the sound it can make.
Also what about a center channel down near the trans hump with a horn for each side?
