I really need some help figuring this out. I can not for the life of me get the cross pin in with the axles are in but with the axles out the pin goes in.

Are you pulling the axles back out tight against the C-Clip?
This maybe. I would see if you can put a slight chamfer on the end its stuck on pin wise. I'ma try the same with my practice axle I screwed up two months ago XD
You're sure the clutch pack clearances, etc.. and all that are correct? If so, have you just tried using a flat-head screwdriver to pull the pin into position?
