8.8 cross pin problems
I am finishing up my rear end build and I'm having an issue installing the cross pin. with the axles out in goes in with out a problem. When I slide it out and install the c-clips on the axles and try to install the pin it hits the top of the axles but with a little tap with a rubber mallet it slides down until it catches the bottom lip of the spider gear or top lip of the carrier. What I believe is the problem is the one of the axles is sitting to far in due to clip but haven't been able to figure out what is happening. Does anyone have any experience with this?
