8.8 rebuild guide

have looked at installing new gears in my 8.8 (maybe 3.73 or 4.11)and maybe lockright. found info on 9" but maybe i should stay with my 8.8 , and where can i find some diagrams and tips for the 8.8?.....any info and opinions would be greatly appreciated

Stick with the 8.8. If you want to learn how to rebuild the axle (not much more than replacing the gears)...buy an "8.8 rebuild" video off ebay from a user "badshoe"...good stuff.
