October 2016 Chat Thread

Happy October!
A new month is here and the weather sure has turned around the last few days. Wednesday was hot and humid but it is nice to be outside now.

My little man started crawling yesterday and he is getting into everything now. Looks like it is time to do some childproofing of the kitchen cabinets.

The Hwy 411 yard sale is this weekend and people started setting up on Monday. The wife wants to ride around this morning and check it out. They might have some cool man stuff.

Going to try and do a little wrenching this weekend but nothing much since most of tools are at work. Going to try and change the u-joints on the daughters truck next weekend.

I am glad it has cooled of some. Sound like you need a Harbour Freight fix to get that second set of tools for the house. Now that litter man is mobile want be long before you will have a crop of tools planted,

Shoot another coat of primer yesterday. Start sanding tomorrow

I'm sure it's not that bad Hugh.

They did a BBQ yesterday at work for the employees, it was nice. Funny thing it was cloudy all day yesterday in Atlanta but wife said it was sunny all day at home. We could have used a little rain but no love.

Going to start dropping the fuel tank on the 79 so I can get it fixed. I have to get in gear because I know winter is on the way.

Didn't do anything on the truck today, had to run some errands this morning and now my back is having spasms. Looks like a trip to the doctors to get it checked out since it has been bothering me for about 3 weeks now.

Sorry to hear about back problems, suffered plenty when I was installing garage doors for a living, much easier selling them. Right now I know the feeling with the back. Got a lot done in the last two days. Spent yesterday wet sanding the cab, bed, and hood. Finished prep this morning, and left the shop at 7 tonight. I think it was worth it.

Got a little bit of wet sanding, but at least I can start putting her back together now.

That is looking outstanding Bob!!!!

Back started having spasms again early this morning so I went to the emergency room. No slipped disc thank goodness, just a severe back strain. They gave me some muscle relaxers and pain pills. I have been really hurting the last 3 days.
