Unpaid but still work.
The leaves have started to really fall fast now and I'm tired of scooping leaves out of the pool already so it's getting covered.

I need a small part for my hot tub to get it going again but having a hard time finding it, plus I think I like the hot tub better.

For the most part the black is done. I got a look I really was not going for- kinkle finish. But for a fist paint job done under less than ideal conditions the look is starting to grow on me. At a later date I may try to sand it out and shoot clear coat.

Hugh, painting is a tough thing to get right, I know that there are a lot of dry patches on mine, but I wasn't trying for show truck.

Chief, glad to hear that you're getting the 79 up and running.

Spent the day getting the padded dash, trim, defrost vents, and speaker grill installed. Even got a start on the doors with the outside handles, locks, and window tracks.

Bob at least it is uinform an like you said it not a show truck. MY wife said it gives it character. I think it was the paint. IT going to be hauling the tractor not a travel trailer.

Hugh, It looks good for a first try especially with the less than ideal conditions you were working under. Out of everything to do to vehicles I hate paint and bodywork the most. It almost scares me to even think about doing the bodywork on 79.

I used the 79 to haul off the leaves from the front yard yesterday and it was 2 full loads.

They had another brush fire in Rome yesterday, it's so dry all it takes is one little spark.

The weekends go by so fast. The wife has never been to Chattanooga so I am taking her up next weekend to sight see.

We have decided to try and do a few days at Disney World next October. I just think the wife got tired of me talking about it.

After my run to Harbor Freight for chains, binders and straps, then Tractor supply for the monthly pet food run I was able to get the first heavy coat of silver shot. I think I picked the 2 worst colors for a first job. Va appointment tomorrow, get back on it Wensday. wet Sand again and shoot some lighter coats.
