Just noticed the hoist rails are upside down . Taper doesn't do much on the bottom .
That's an oddity. In my youth I helped install at least a dozen of those lifts in new service stations and car dealerships (yes, the 12' holes were dug by hand). That H-frame has a relief in the center that the ram slides into. I never thought to think that they could/would be installed upside down. That would put a lot of stress on the bolts.
