Once I get the chance (hopefully tomorrow morning) I am going to run through the local JY and see what I can scavenge. I like the idea of the wider cap as I am really hating these wires sliding up and off the cap. Of course it could be due to the cheap-AZ (pun intended) wires. I will be going to the wide cap after some great info from Orich. Have a couple of small things I need to get taken care of first, like a last minute soccer game for the kid up in South Lake Tahoe this weekend, that are eating up my play money.
If any of you have pics of the race set-ups you ran back in the day I would love to see them, vehicle, engine, anything. Firmly convinced I was born at the wrong time in the history.

Aw yeah, I did flip flopped back & fourth a little. It's like who did not like seeing and hearing a bad azz vett then as they were GM's best eye candy then.

Plug wires still not replaced, chasing another problem and saving up for the larger cap and HEI style wires. I hate how close this cap has the wires attached plus I think it looks better.
Some misfire eliminated by replacing the ground wire inside the cap, setting the air gap for the Ignitor unit and cleaning up the inside of the distributor cap terminals.
