Check Engine light

Just got a check engine light yesterday. I was headed to work, normal driving and it came on. The truck doesn't seem to be running any different. I have 72k, recently added a K&N air intake (1 month ago) and just started using Lucus injector treatment (3 weeks). You guys have any ideas? I know its kinda hard to diagnose without a scanner. I checked under the hood and everything is within normal operating range. Any help would be appreciated

can you pull the code to see what it is? Also, did you read the other thread about the guy using Lucas fuel treatment that could have been emulsifying water, and trashed his fuel system over time. Not sure if there is a connection or not, but regardless, I personally wouldn't be running the Lucas.

EDIT: Here is the link to THAT thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1453211-done.html

Im gonna drive to the my local dealer tomorrow and have my buddy pull the code. I don't think I'm going to be using the treatment anymore. This happened on my 3rd tank using this stuff. Also the truck seems to running fine at the moment.

Interesting on the Lucas stuff... I need to read up on that other thread. I had started using it, but then I found premium diesel so I quit.

UPDATE
took the f250 into the local dealer by my house. I was in and out in 30 mins. Thank fully I know one of the service managers pretty well. He was able to scan my truck and check it out. The truck threw an error code because their was a difference in air flow sensors from the mass air and the TMP (i think thats what its called). They Cleared the code and did a retest to make sure the system wasn't going to throw a check engine light.

Lucas

Stop using Lucas fuel additive for Diesel. It will emulsify water into the diesel fuel. There is another thread running about that right now.
I would also recommend going back to the stock air cleaner. The oil from the K&N will transfer to the MAF sensor and cause the error you just had. I have had this happen to me, It stopped when I went back to the stock filter.
