Good luck at the junk yards finding a good drive shaft. Every yard in my area, the yard apes damage the driveshafts with the front loaders.

5 years looking for a drive shaft that was not munged up.........

I've called everywhere local and found nothing. Most of the Jy's close to here have closed. I called a local drive line shop and they quoted me $150.00. I've found a couple online but with freight I think having one built is the answer. Thanks for the help guys.

$150.00 for the piece of mind in knowing that you will have a driveshaft that fits correctly and is balanced?......Priceless ! That's a good price.

Having one made locally is always better IMO than purchasing something from a web site and hoping everything fits right.

I dropped my bent shaft of Wednesday and picked it up last night. It cost $250 with 2 new USA u-joints installed. I installed it this morning and drove it on the hwy for the first time. I'm starting to really like this ole 6 banger truck.
