I waited 5 months and just got my VIN Thursday. Still not happy with the Ford Team but somewhat satiated things are on the move ahead. Keep the faith my friend, good things come to those who wait!
Junior what did you order? Seeing all these guys order and 2-3 weeks later have a VIN and build dates? And here we sit! Wondering if what we ordered is playing a part? Mine is a 350 dually KR. Have not found any at the dealers, and only a few 450's.
I ordered a 450. You think it's because it's a drw? Maybe ford scheduled srw to be in production for now.

I know I haven't waited as long as some of you but dang ford should have known their new trucks would be flying off the shelves. Talk about not prepared lol!
I guess they spent all their money on advertising dollars instead of stocking up on Rear Cameras.
I've waited nowhere near as long as you guys for your VINs, but I'm sure I am no less anxious waiting for my truck to arrive. I figure this is worse than Christmas...I actually know what I am getting!!

That seems to be a reasonable assumption. I have checked Ford dealers in a 100 mile radius and found no 350 duallys and only four 450's (if you like black). It seems from this forum that most of the trucks being delivered are srw. Hopefully Ford will fire up production of the duallys soon!
Ford like many companies that manufacture products Ford use the system "Just on Time" ordering for parts to complete the unit they are building. One miss step and it brings that particular unit to a sceeming halt.
Great money saving system..............when it works
