Extended oil change interval ?????

It counts down based on idle hours, rpm, and engine load. It doesn't know anything about contamination. I agree with that. You have a use case to change early. Most don't. I did forget to mention if you bio diesel it's a 3k mile change per the owners manual.
My last oil change the oil looked good, granted I did not do a Blackstone UOA on it. Almost felt guilty about changing it. On My old 6.ohh at a 5k oil change it was obvious the oil was done.
Next oil change I'll send out a sample to Blackstone to see how good or bad it is.
