Soooo, battling a recent issue with my 7.3 I was recommended an OBD2 bluetooth adapter and in the heat of the moment I bought it, later realizing that it's for Android and I have Apple IOS products. I scoured the internet and there are a million droid compatible units but I am not seeing a clear combination for IOS.
I read a bunch of threads here but they seems to point toward there not being an option for Apple IOS... WHAT??
Is anyone running a reliable setup on an Iphone or Ipad? If so, what unit/App are you using?
Your problem is iOS doesn't really allow much in the way of Bluetooth. There are some starting, but I couldn't find them so I went with the OBLink Mx WiFi. It comes with their app OBDLink.
It can be picky at times, like wanting to be unplugged and set back in again on occasion. And the PIDs aren't 100% correct. I added ones Rick and others have posted in the forum. But overall, I am happy with the app as it reads the PIDs and has helped diagnose some issues.
Has anyone used an IOS compatible version that will show/record live data? I have a decent code reader that will log live data on most rigs but not on these 7.3's. Trying to get around buying a $400 setup that I won't often use.

For the sake of better movement on the gauges (better resolution), I set the following maxes while driving (troubleshooting in the garage is a different matter):
MAP - 35 PSI (stock) or 50 PSI tuned/chipped. Fuel/air mods can exceed the MAP sensor capacity, so protect it with a boost fooler.
EBP - 55 PSI absolute, or 40 PSI gauge pressure (like an exhaust "boost")
Thanks for the data. What should I expect while cranking? As far as hpop/duty cycle etc? My obd link is supposed to be here Friday, got my IPR from RiffRaff today but I want to see the number with the old one before I install the new one.
