oil pump nut
Does anyone have an oil pump nut or a part number to search for one?
I am in need of the nut that fits over the pickup tube and threads into a geroter style pump?
Mine is leaking due to the surface being turned down as I bunged up my threads some and am weary of the slow drip.

The nut itself is not sealed. The seal is achieved by the rubber grommet, which is compressed against the tube and pump housing. If the oil is actually dripping from that area, then there is a problem with your pickup tube or the pump housing.

My nut was shortened up in a lathe due to bad threads that would not hook. I tried shimming it out with bushings but it still leaks. Prior to dinging the threads it did not leak.
I did take it apart, clean it and stuff it with RTV once and reassemble it. I let it dry and it slowed the leak but am tired of the drips.
Hence why I want the nut,
