Ford doesn't have any promotional interest rates right now. Best way to get rates is to get approved on your own and then let the dealer match/beat it. I haven't seen any credit unions around here doing 1.9 for awhile. 2.49 seems to be the bottom in this market currently.
USAA has 1.49% or .99% if you use their car buying service

I am going to hold off a bit based upon the latest reports on Truck sales. ALL of the makers are down, even the red hot selling Tacoma by Toyota is down and has been down for 3 mo in a row. Sales down? Last I saw Ford is going to have the best year in trucks since pre recession.... In fact, while sales overall were down last month (industry as a whole), they weren't as bad as expected. I don't expect anything different than normal myself unless the election makes something happen a little more dramatic than should be the case.
And how is the Toyota "red hot" sitting back in 4th place or wherever they are.....
