I got the 13Kmi Check Coolant additive message on my 2011 F250 and was able to turn it off from Steering Wheel buttons.
It just popped up at 13.5 K on my 2016, and I can't seem to be able to shut it off. It returns each time that I start the Truck. Has something changed ?............TNX..............Lew

 

I just reset that msg on mine. If I remember its under maintenance along with the reset for oil change.
