Coolant Additive Message (again)
Sorry for bringing this up again, but I couldn't find a straight answer when I did a search in the old posts: I now have 14k miles on the truck and I keep getting the "check coolant additive" message in the message center. I understand I need to test the coolant with the right test strips for OAT type coolant, but the message just keeps coming back every time I restart and hit OK. Do I have to reset something or will these messages just go away on their own? Has anyone had to add the additive at such low miliage?

Go into the System Information and select the engine Coolant and hold the OK button to reset and you won't get the message everytime you start for another 600 hours.
I didn't get mine tested when the message displayed, But plan on getting it tested when it's in for the next oil change.
