Burning oil
I have a 1991 F250 7.5 L with 300,000 and I am starting to burn oil app 2 l every 400 km. Not a big problem, if I had that many km on me I would burn something to, but if I could fix the problem for a reasonable price why not? It is burning not leaking as there is black smoke coming from exhaust. Would that be rings or valves? Or could it be something else?

Running rich washes the rings, I highly recommend solving the rich issue first and ASAP.
With 300k on the clock I am sure it has seen better days, most likely it's valve seals but with that many miles on it it could also be rings.
A compression check dry and wet as well as a leak down test would be where I start ...
But you need to solve the rich issue, that's not good for it.
