I have a 1991 F250 7.5 L with 300,000 and I am starting to burn oil app 2 l every 400 km. Not a big problem, if I had that many km on me I would burn something to, but if I could fix the problem for a reasonable price why not? It is burning not leaking as there is black smoke coming from exhaust. Would that be rings or valves? Or could it be something else?
Ok I know that I am burning rich as I can smell it and I can also sometimes smell gas, But I must be burning oil as I am having to add oil and I am not leaking it.
