General oil question
What causes the engine oil to get black very quickly after a change? Mine gets black in a couple of days but my sons truck takes 4 or 5 weeks to turn black. Is soot getting past the rings?

The more black smoke you blow while driving, the more your putting into your oil.
With our HPOP systems, we are only changing about 90-95% of our oil per OCI unless you manually suck the HPOP fluid out, then you get about 99% of it.
Mine stays good for a while, but I try not and smoke everyone out on the highway either.
