So heres a question for ya'll about my computer. Theres two hidden files in "my documents" folder. How do i figure out what they are without already knowing? This has been bugging me for a while now
Err...Windows XP -does- have Explorer. It's the main running program. If you Ctrl-Alt-Del, then select the "Processes" tab and click the column header "Image Name", you will see "explorer*****" is always running and constantly hogging up around 20MB of memory (at least on my XP home machine).
And no, there isn't a way to just search for hidden files without some external program or shell extension. Sorry I can't be of more help.
well sorry, i havn't ever touched windows xp because it believes that i can't think for myself. There is a way to search for hidden files in dos, goto the folder and then type dir /ah
Blaster is an easy remove though. wait til later this year when they change it, why these jerks gotta come up with these files amazes me, maybe they all need to own a chevy truck so they having something to do.
