wired part is if you put a charger to it for about a 1min or 3 it will fire up. you take the charger off and turn it off it wont restart dose it again.
we installed a new started solenoid and it still dose it,
Test the battery under load. A voltage reading at rest doesn't really mean much. A marginal battery can test fine at rest but fail under the load of the starter.
While you're at it, run a voltage drop test on the cables, including the ground side.
Details of how to run the battery load test and voltage drop test are here:
Step-by-step instructions are near the bottom of that first post. It's only three simple meter hookups, taking less than five minutes. The tests will confirm if the battery is capable of supplying adequate current under load, and if the rest of the starter circuit is delivering that current without restriction.
Can't charge a battery in a few minutes, try maybe 12 or 18 hours at 6 amps whatever it takes, let it cook for a while when it reaches 14.5 volts or so.
