Alright, so I got a chance to work on the truck. I got the cpps all wired up, minus the cruise control wire (I'll get to that). I fired the truck up and it runs! But..... The interior is still out, and I was short on time, so I'm not sure how it drives.
I ended up tapping in to the resistance side of the existing coolant temp sensor and running that over to the grey connector.
Issues so far, CEL is on and the check gauge light is on. Also, the tach isn't working, which is probably why the check gauge light is on.
So, I did a little research. Sounds like the 99-01 PCM and the 02-03 PCM use different inputs to read the engine RPM, so perhaps the 99 PCM with the 03 wiring harness is the issue with the tach?
