I bought a 1995 F350 4x4 with a 460 in it. Ran good for for two weeks. The first thing I noticed it see me hot. Looked around and a lot of people sad this is normal for 460s. Then it did notes that to start on the front tank but would run if you started with rear tank and switched. I went to go to town the other night started right up. Got about a block down the road and had zero power. I had to full throttle it to get it to move to make it back home. It has a Orileys crate motor in it with less then 4000 miles. New distributor, cap, plugs, wires ect. I did the self test it came up with code 23 and 33. I replaced tps and tested several others. It try's to start kinda. Diesels a little bit when you let off and it dies.
I had a customer bring me a Chevy truck with an O'reillys crate SB that had spun a rod bearing with like 35 miles on it. What I found was so much assembly lube in it that number 4 rod wasn't getting oil. I would spin the pump with a drill and see how hard it turns.
