I want 500hp . I'm doing all supporting mods but am currently on the market for a turbo that would be a gooden. I tow my 28' camper around the southern states working and don't want anything too gosh awful laggy. But I do want to move some air . You think this is too big
If I can't get this dinosaur at a reliable 500hp I I promise I'm going to stop modding my 7.3 and get a 6.7 lol .
1.32 exhaust? Pardon my ignorance on housings, but isn't that a long wait before it lights up? I have the 38R with 1.0, and it's snappy enough for my 400 HP.

I was thinking the same thing but ya never know! I found a 369 that would better serve my 500hp believe
Here's the problem.... you made us believe that you knew more about turbochargers than you actually did in your previous posts. You're starting with aftermarket garbage and then getting upset when other aftermarket parts don't match the aftermarket stuff you already have. Given your vast knowledge of turbochargers, you should know that BorgWarner does not classify their turbochargers as "GT". Your problem is is that you're buying aftermarket stuff in an effort to be cheap and you're just biting yourself in the butt every time because of it.

Look , I'm not asking for anyone to come on every thread I post with bull **** because I had a problem with SpTurboost products and he made me look silly because he is a turbo technician. I'm not , they still sold me crappy parts . Please drop that it's over
If you aren't here to give me useful information on a good 500hp turbo please just go to another thread . I didn't make this for drama. Grow up
I think this is the root of the problem. I have seen time and time again where people have told you how you can attain 500HP, but it seems that you want to get there for very cheap and very quickly.
Attaining 500 HP is not an easy task and takes a lot of supporting modifications. You cannot simply bolt on a huge turbo and expect to run that much power for very long at all. Most of the guys/gals on here look for reliable and consistent power. Some do attain high levels such as 500 HP, but spend a lot of time, effort, money, blood sweat and tears into attaining that level.
Your burning bridges by posting words and advice as if they were your own original thoughts. There is not a problem with posting information you have read on another site, but you should site a link and quote it as needed.
You seem to be a little hot headed, and I am willing to bet this is not the first time you have had problems getting along with others. Just relax, read what some of the old hat FTE members are telling you and take it for what it is worth, free...
If you don't like it, you are more than welcome to go seek better or more agreeable advice on other PowerStroke forums. No one makes you log into FTE everyday with another great idea to instantly get to 500 HP.
I wish you the best of luck with your pursuit of HP, but be careful how you get there.

I understand that I need supporting mods to safely obtain 500hp . Hpop ,injectors ,fuel system ,valve springs ,pushrods head studs . I'm going t4 I have decided. I am currently messaging a vendor and purchasing 250 100 injectors. What I was looking for advice about was a turbo. No I'm not going to spend $3,000 on a new gtx turbo. I am looking for something that if it blows I can simply rebuild or buy another. You don't have to buy a 2000-3000 dollar turbo to make consistent 500hp twice a month do you ? I'm not looking to start any problems with anyone. For some reason I made this thread with this turbo and it seem it's caused a lot of animosity.
I've not seen this kind of consistently aggressive responsiveness from most of these guys ever before, and I've been part of this forum for almost 10 years now. Admittedly, we do have a few crusty folks in here, but what I'm seeing is way out of the norm... there is definitely something about your approach and your manner of responding to them which is consistently rubbing folks the wrong way.
Perhaps you really ARE listening to the advice these guys are giving you, but when you simply jump from one "new" item to another without acknowledging or talking about how you either are or have been actively implementing the wisdom offered from previous input, you leave yourself wide open for the kind of criticism and sharp responses you've been receiving.
I've learned a lot on fte that's how I know what I know now. But it seems a trend when one "krusty" (I like that lol ) user pulls my hair they all jump in .
