I can bring my Smoker, and deep fryer stuff for another pot of Gumbo, if y'all want to eat that again. I'll even load up that kitchen sink again.
Along with my cast iron stuff, and camping kitchen with goodies in there.
Shari's even mentioned about making it to this trip, unless it gets too cool again. So if she makes it, then I'll bring my big tent. I do need to get that out, set it up and check it all real good. It hasn't seen day light in 3 years.
I'm on 03 again.
Chili again if anyone wants it and chicken wings for lunch on Sat. I'll have to bring the Kettle and the Vortex. Going to experiment soon with a brine/marinade recipe for chicken from Cornell University.
I just reserved site 5. I'll be sleeping in my truck. I have space on that site for one more vehicle and two tents.
The spaces are filling up so if you want a spot beside 5 or 6 you better jump on it. Looks like 4 is still open. The other sites we had last year are already taken.
October 14th, 15th, and 16th. Check in at 4pm and check out at 2pm
Oh h*ll yes and h*ll yes...
Make sure you bring some extra G strings...
You had me for a few minutes there Tony. I forgot about that "G" string issue I had tuning up my 12 string acoustic guitar.
And yes, Tony, we can eat that chili again. That'll feel nice on a cool October weekend.
Just spoke to the powers behind the FTE curtain. Looks like we're getting some goodies from the fine folks at Ford Truck Enthusiasts for our gathering. I'll make sure everyone gets something.
I cross posted this into the SC chapter and will probably hit up the VA and TN chapters as well.
I booked site 7 for ***** and I. Don't see a reason to grab as many sites as we did last time. I'm sure we'll have plenty of parking and spaces for tents.
I'll be sure to bring my ear plugs.
4, 8 and 10 are going to be the next closest sites.
Matt, sorry I saw you won't be able to make that weekend. Hopefully things will change and it'll open up for you.
