NFTE FALL FLING

So Badin lake has no electric hookups, Arrowhead camp ground does, but it's not on the water. Last time was fun with out electric, I also think we got too many sites. However, since Marty's cousin will be coming, I'll let him book his site first, so i can get one on the OTHER side of the campground.
I'm leaning towards the 22nd, will that one work for you Matt?
I have a couple of Kayaks to bring as well, though I'll probably be out in the jeep most of Saturday, depending on the head count, I can cut down on the amount of pork, since we literally had 5 lbs left over last time, at least. However, I vote for Marty's wife baking another cake, and Bob's gumbo, a triple batch would be good! I believe I have a four or five gallon pot if we need it, for that.
Site 6 is booked, which was the large one Bob had, but we can go on the lower loop, and a large site there (28) is also on the water it looks like, with a few empty sites around it. Since we all know my ability to back a trailer in isn't worth much, I'll just need a real wide driveway!
Oh how are those banjo playing skills coming along? Do I need to learn the next verse of Dueling Banjos?

I haven't been on the forums much in a few years but I check in often. I am a former NCFTE chapter leader and would like to get back involved. Looks like you guys have one heck of a party planned, I live 25-30 min from badin and would definitely like to attend if y'all will have me. I have a 20' boat that I can bring if I need bribes.

Hey Ashley, we'd love to have you back in the mix. Of course you are welcome to join us for any ncfte event or function. Looks like the 22nd is working for most but still need the ok's from a couple of core members to make it official.
Tony, WP, Marty, are you guys good with the 22nd? Soon as yall chime in we can reserve sites.

May be a potential date conflict for the 22nd. They are having a huge 100 mile and 100k run at uhwarrie that weekend. Folks show up from all over to race this. One of the largest 100 milers on the east coast. I do not think it will affect the ohv trails. But it will certainly impact camping and in general getting around the park/forest.
Doesn't seem to be anything large planned on the 15th. That may be a better weekend.
What do yall think?

I'm fine with the earlier date too.
