DIPSTICK IDENTIFICATION
ok gang....


back when I was building my 78 supercab I sandblasted and painted this transmission dipstick tube only to find out it didn't fit when I went to install it on the transmission.


can anyone identify it???

ID number: EOAP-7A020-DA = Ford part number: EOAZ-7A020-A .. AOD Dipstick / Obsolete

1980/83 Lincoln Continental Mark VI / 1980/86 LTD/Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Car.

1983: Ford changed the name LTD to Crown Victoria.

Bill you are amazing. I searched online for an hour or so figuring the part number would lead me to an answer... but no dice.


Just a few minutes on FTE and I got my answer. Thanks!!!


Now where the hell did I get an AOD dipstick tube from.... lol...

The thing is, you did not have a part number (until I gave it to you). All you had was the ID Engineering number marked on the dipstick.
