Yesterday I replaced the brake booster and m/c. No problem...
Last night I got to thinking, I did not use anything to seal between the booster and fire wall. I went into the shed and found some 1/2 wide close cell sticky back foam strips.
Removed the booster cleaned the fire wall and the booster applied the foam.
STUPID..............I have spent the last 3 1/2 hours trying to get that dang booster back in the truck. It looks as if the steel bracket on the inside that holds the brake petal has moved down. I should have just let it go or gooped some RTV and said to HELLo with it
Kinda hard to do by your self when it wants to lick your butt.
This is a family type site......So I just can not come out and tell the truck to Kiss My A$$.
OK....you were right..........it should have been a K
Never claimed to be the sharpest marble in the bag...........LOL
why not? whenever one of my trucks break, that is exactly what i tell them!!!
then i let them sit for a week or two broken to show the rest of them what will happen if they decide to break on me.
they have all learned real fast who the boss is.
