66 F100 engine identification

66 F100 engine identification
I just bought a66 f100 and was told it had a 390 in it, but thought that those didn't come in trucks until 68. The only number I have so far is from the intake manifold and it's D3TE-9425-A2A. Can anyone tell me what I have from that?

Intake manifold is from a 1973 F100/350 360/390 with 2V carburetor.

John The only V8 offered in 66 was a FE 352 which all magically become 390s on sale day. No telling what has be done under the hood in the last 50 years as indicated by the intake manifold. Very likely it had rolled the Odometer a couple three times, and the engine rebuilt or replaced.
