1967-352 engine part interchangeability
Parts have been disappearing from '67 F100 over the many years it's been parked in someone's back forty. What other engines would the parts forward of the block fit (water pump, pulleys, fan, etc.)? Any interchangeability of exhaust manifolds?
Thanks,
Eric

The original fan was either 4 blades, or 5 and is 18 1/2" in diameter. The fans will interchange the same as the waterpump, but many of the car fans are smaller in diameter and may have a fan clutch. Some of the 1973/76 F100/350 360/390 fans have fan clutches.
Waterpump pulley, single sheeve (belt groove), 6 51/64" in diameter. The same pulley was used on most of the 1957/64 full sized Fords and T-Birds with 292/312/332/352/390 engines, 1965/67 F100/350 352's. Other pulleys from other years fit, but many of these have 2 sheeves, and are larger in diameter. Some have different offsets.
There is a spacer between the waterpump and the fan. The cars/trucks use the same ones, but there are many different lengths. 1965/67 F100/350 352 spacer is 3.10" long.
Exhaust manifolds are strictly truck, some of the 1961/71 cars will fit, but the exhaust outlet is in a totally different location.
The right manifold is the same 1965/72 F100/350 352/360/390. Marked: C5TE, C8TE, DOTE, D2TE.
The left is 1965/67 F100/350 352. Marked C5TE.
The 1968/72 F100/350 360/390 manifold also fits, but I can't recall what the difference is. Marked: C8TE, DOTE, D2TE
1973/76 F100/350 360/390 manifolds are different shapes, with different exhaust pipe outlet sizes, the outlets are in different locations: Marked: D3TE, D4TE, D5TE, D6TE.
Marked: Manifold ID numbers are cast onto the manifold, but these are not casting numbers, per se. They are ID engineering numbers.
Need more parts? Please list them. I'm using parts catalogs to see what does/doesn't work. So it takes time to research and type.
I don't want to list parts you don't need
Thanks for the fast response! This was a great old truck that I really enjoyed and hate to part out or with. I drove this truck to Alaska 3 round trips during the 1980's before parking due to rust. I never had one mechanical failure and as I recall it took only 1 qt of oil on its last return trip (~180M miles when parked). This truck had a few unique features like the 3-speed overdrive and limited-slip rear end and I had more faith in it mechanically than any truck I've had since then.
Thanks again,
Brother of too much stuff (David)

My '65 has the same O/D and Limited Slip rear end, it was a 352 2V, now it's a 390 4V.
Best MPG: 28.7 / Usually 22-23.
