You have to use the correct alloy. It's stainless steel and if you don'e
do it right you will cost yourself more than the BPD cooler would of in
the first place.
Jimbo, I dug around my shop and found a piece of 1/4 stainless had it cut and welded in both sides. Works great. Look at how your ends are and fit inside carefully.
I'm going to replace the oil cooler this weekend and I wanted to weld up the egr cooler why'll I had it out I have a good gas mig and I can weld pretty good so I'm going to give it a shot
