Are you talking about the guage bezel. Or where your heater switches and stuff are. If it's the guage panel it's pretty easy.

I recently replaced all of mine with led's. I would suggest to not replace the high beam indicator with an LED. Way to bright. Also don't replace the air bag light with an LED due to it staying dimly lit.

Is there any how to instructions anywhere? Where did you get the LED's at? In definitely need some illumination.

The Gentlemen in this video is a member here. I have used his guidance with great success over the years. In this video he explains the how-to in removing the cluster.

I ordered bulbs from superbrightleds. Dash illumination bulbs are #74-GHP3 green (6 of them), turn signal #B8.5D-GHP green (2 of them), temp control and fan #B8.5D-WHP white (2 of them). You have to slightly bend the electrical contacts upwards for them to work. They are also polarity sensitive, so just plug the instrument cluster in and turn the lights in before reinstalling. I almost want to put regular bulbs back in for the turn signals because they are so bright to. I used white for the temp/ lean control since the temp dial has white and red. They ended up working perfectly for lighting up the green sections. But like I said, stay away from the blue led bulb for the high beam because it's too damn bright. All the bulbs dim with the dimmer switch like incadescents.
