2008-2015 Ford Super Duty Chrome Rear Tailgate Raised Letter Emble...






Has anyone used these or anything similar? I want to put them on the gate of my '01.

 

Don't have them, but I saw them a couple of times, and they looked better than I thought they would. I still don't know if I would use them, but at least I know they aren't as bad as I thought.

 

Like this? I think they add something to the look. Take your time installing them.

 

I put them on about a year and a half ago. Several car washes, and hot Arizona sun with no problems.

 

I have the black ones from Recon, Front, rear and dash kit

 

clean the area up before you put them on....windex would be a good choice...then make sure its dry.

 

The newer tailgates have the super duty letering rescesed in them the tailgate on your 01 doesn't have them so you'd just be sticking them on the paint. Is that truck gonna show up I don't think I'd be buying stuff till you get that situation figured out.

 

LOL As of today the title is being shipped to me(I actually have a legit tracking number and everything!)and waiting to hear from the shipper. Seems to be an ongoing ordeal. I already bought '05 headlights and a chrome grill for it so what's a $30 set of chrome letters at this point? Actually this is for when it does arrive. I like the look of the SUPER DUTY on the newer trucks and thought the chrome letters would go well with the chrome grill and bumper I plan to add.
