Hoping someone can help with this. The Bluetooth in my 2015 250 has always acted odd but I blamed it on my old iPhone (4S). Usually when I can't get the phone to connect I just turn off the Bluetooth in the truck then turn it back on. Sometimes I have to delete the phone and re-add it for things to start working again. This time around I turned off the Bluetooth but now it won't turn back on. I tried using the "Reset Defaults" menu item but to no avail. I'm hoping there is a key sequence that can get the Bluetooth to re-initialize or perhaps a fuse to pull to get the unit to reset. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
BT on my fiesta occasionally doesn't work. Often the voice button seems to be inop, or it just won't connect. Regardless of the fact that I work at a dealer, by the time I get around to complaining it mysteriously starts working again. So the best why I've found to fix it is to make an appointment to have it fixed and then it will work again. I've had my Fiesta for over a year an a half and it's only happened maybe 3 times. The I Phones are the most particular, so it may well be a combination of both phone and truck misbehaving at different times.
I've only had an iPhone for about a year, and have never had any issues connecting to SYNC. Different vehicles behave differently though, the SYNC in my work truck, a '16 Super Duty, is pickier than everything else I drive.
A bit jealous though, really wish our Transit had SYNC! Was very tough to find in a used Transit, and so we decided to forego that for a good deal we found locally.

Hi NHNRS and Frantz,
I can help with that. Have you tried performing the master reset to SYNC with the vehicle parked and running to correct the issue?
I got a new iPhone on Thursday (an iPhone SE) and this has come back but this time around the master reset doesn't fix it. It does the reset but when I try to add the phone back in it tells me Bluetooth is off. I turn it on and try again and it says it is off again - infinite loop. I've done the master reset and factory default several times in every order imaginable, same result.

Not sure what it has and the link seems to indicate I need my phone connected to get a health report. I have never done an update to Sync and I don't believe the dealer has either. I won't be back to the truck until this afternoon but is there a way through the screen to see what software it is running?

Yes, a phone does need to be connected to the vehicle when running the Vehicle Health Report so it can send it your account. There is a way to check the software version from the vehicle, however, I would need to know which SYNC system you have to provide you with the proper steps: owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/get-started-with-sync/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html?model
Thanks. The vehicle is more than likely up to date with V4.4. Since there isn't an update available and the reset didn't fix the issue, then you'll need to go to the dealer for a more hands on approach. They should be able to look into why the vehicle is defaulting the Bluetooth to Off.
