Well I installed fortins evo all stand alone system, 150 dollars compared to fords oem 400 dollar system that includes a flash required.
Note: It doesnt have a transponder in the key so the programming was a little different, can bus programming only and the remote starter couldnt read the factory key alarm fob so a aftermarket fob was needed, crimestopper revo1, which was an additional 35 dollars.
All in all it does what i need it to do which is start the van in the mornings during the cold months.

I bought a simple Viper 4115V remote start for my 2015 T350 wagon from an eBay seller, but have not had an opportunity to dive into the installation. I don't have an alarm system nor do I desire tying into the door locks, so it should be a straightforward tap into the ignition circuit.
The biggest task seems to be locating and connecting to the right wires, and Viper is extremely secretive on providing information to anyone but authorized installers (probably due to liability issues). I've been hacking into vehicle wiring since I installed my first 8-track player and I got good information from the12volt.com, so I'll get it figured out eventually.
Can you provide any insight into where you connected wiring?

Also since there is no rx,tx connection ( transponder), you have to find a ground for your remote start, I used the frame of the steering column( the blue wire on left side of picture with the blue t-connector to the black wire which is attached to frame of the column for my alarm neg. . hope this helps
