Just curious, what kind of temps is he seeing? My '07 stayed under 200* the handful of times I pulled something heavy, but it wasn't stop-and-go in hot weather either.
There is a gent, former Ford tranny engineer who goes by Mark kovalski (?), who IMHO, will probably concur the oem cooler is more than adequate...hopefully he will chime in and give recommendations
