Adam, do you get a commission whenever you sell someone on the mod, lol?
I strongly advise against using a cutting torch! If you have to use a cutoff wheel or saws all on the pedestal to get the turbo our of the way so you use other methods on the bolt. Torches cause truck fires. Many photos on the internet.
Thanks for the info. I wouldn't know because I've never even seen one in use What do y'all think about cutting the heads off with a dremel and extracting the shaft once the turbo is out? Just trying to decide what the easiest approach is going to be...
maybe weld a washer on it then a nut to washer to get it off
That would probably work, the only problem is that I neither have a welder nor know how to weld... Another skill that I want to learn really bad but haven't had the time/resources to make it happen yet, I have plenty of friends that know how to weld but hasn't happened yet.

I have used a dremel for that many times. Just use lots of PB blaster or atf with acetone to break down the rust before grabbing it with vice grips.
Usually once they bolt head pressure is off most bolts come out easier.
I removed old exhaust manifold studs that way many times. Did that a month ago on my lawnmower blade bolt. Broke my 3/8 ratchet but came out easy after slicing the head. I don't cut off the head. Just make a slot on top of bolt head and many times a screw driver can remove the bolt after.

Ok, thanks. I ended up getting the front one out with a special patented design socket that was supposed to grip the bolt better, still have to get the back one out though.
3 bolts hold the ebpv to the turbo. Remove those and push it towards the firewall. This makes it much easier to remove the passenger rear bolt out. Won't help on driver's side rear bolt. Which one are you referring to?
