Need help. TFT sensor bad.

So, driving down the road yesterday and the trans temp gauge is pegged. Edge Insight pulls code P0713 for TFT sensor. Can the truck be driven until I can change the sensor? Will damage occur. No towing will be done. Thanks in advance.

I was sooo hoping that you would chime in Mark. Huge thanks. I love my 6.0 and did not want to take unnecessary risks. Will get to it asap. Thanks again.

Why not use the Edge Insight to check the TFT? It could be just the gauge itself.

Don't know much about the Insight itself, but when the dash gauge pegs then the Insight stops reading the temps. Gauge will read normal for about 10 ten minutes then spike suddenly. Changing sensor today or tomorrow. Thanks for al the input guys.
