I have a 97 F150 with 5.4. The rh torsion bar broke in two. Ford does not list a replacement for my spring code - UD - but there a numerous other ones available. Whats the difference in the spring codes? Can I order the rh "D" spring code torsion bar from Ford and it will work? The replacement part for UD is obsolete.

 

I would do both sides... then you can use whatever you want and they match.

I checked my 2002 CREW and the sticker says springs are "69"
