Talking about the ones you put inside or outside your windshield to keep the sun/heat out. Weathertech makes them custom sized for our truck - anyone else? Is one better than another?
Storage indoors would obviously be better but I have too many toys in my 3000 sq ft garage already. A cab cover would be another alternative but here in the dirt driveway on the farm it would just get so filthy in a week I wouldn't use it.
I use this site: https://www.heatshieldstore.com/ The Shields are quality and work very well. With the Texas sun, they are the best I have found for the money.
I have a Heatshield and it is great. I think they only make them to fit up to 2010. I think the airbags in the A pillars make the pillars a little larger (windshield smaller) and mine was too big. I trimmed 1/2" around the sides and bottom and it's perfect not. I sewed the binding back on by hand.

My heatshield just came in for my 2012 and fits perfectly. Their shipping is high if you just order one, free if you order 2. My neighbor needed on too so I ordered it for him.
I use the cheap wally world/ auto part store one and have had it for years. Not sure how it differs from more expensive ones, aluminum reflective stuff on one side, covers entire window, keeps interior cooler, protect the dash and cloth from sun.
Wally world are custom fit to truck? Or one size fits all but fits OK?
Of the ones noted, Covercraft looks like it might be the sturdiest, but also carries the shortest warrantee while costing the most. The others are rollable, but seem to look wrinkled and saggy typically.
I have used CoverCraft on the last three vehicles I've owned ('13 Subaru, '11 Acadia and '16 F250) and go will continue to go with them in the future. They look and fit great and do a great job of keeping out the heat. I like that they are rigid and fold helping them stay in place better than the pop out or rolling style. If I get out to the truck before the sun goes down I'll see if I can get a pick of it on here.

Fits sided to side with a little xtra, top to bottom perfect. Its your money spend it as you see fit just putting it out there. . I figure it's a sun shade that will get folded up shoved in the back and repeat. Now if your talking about serious bling that will cost hundreds that's a different matter.
