I installed Bilstein shocks & steering stabilizer. Shocks firmed up the ride a little but increased control. Steering was greatly improved.

I also installed a oem rear anti-sway bar. Improved handling quite a bit. I didn't go with the Hellwig for a couple reasons. First, I didn't want to deal with the possibility of a loose rear end in rainy conditions when running empty. Second, I didn't like clamps around the axle housing.
2civicrr, yeah see that what mine loves to do. Just wanders off on me and is very loose. It's not like i can't drive it like that but with the winding mountain roads I have to use for work it gets pretty nerve racking. Also didn't know that they made those.. Are they ridiculous in price? Worth the cost for one?

Cool. If it's pulling and messing up tires then yea, it's just not the norm and I hope you get straightened out. I think the steer stab is only there to keep a load on the rack so that response is quicker? I might take mine off and see how it drives.

If you know, tell me what the thing is for.

Yeah I got it going in to be realigned on Monday so I'm going see what that does for it and then probably will replace the steering stab if it's still loose and shaky. Your idea of what the steer stab would makes sense to me. Haven't really found any clear cut answer on what it's exactly supposed to do if that's what you mean

Steering stabilizer absorbs the feedback in the road...that's it. If you have a pressurized stabilizer (like the one a linked to) it can force the truck one way or the other until the pressure is set properly. Once that's done, you pretty much forget about it until it starts leaking and you put a new one on. YRMV (Your Results May Vary)

Oh okay cool... Now when your meaning the pressure is set properly is that something it just does on its own? Thanks for the clear up

It depends on the truck it's set for by Carli for a truck running a small lift and bigger tires. So it might be a bit pressurized for a stock truck and make it pull. It's just a schrader valve. A quick opening of the valve for a milisecond will likely relieve the pressure. On the other hand if you are getting too much feedback, have a shop add some nitrogen until it feels the way you want.

I thought the price was reasonable.

Definitely worth the cost. Made it so the truck didn't want to wander with every little bump. I like that I installed it & nothing else was required.
