Im thinking of buying a steering stabilizer kit for my truck. Im looking at the dual setup. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10002_95818_-1 Some sites say at least 3" of lift, Some say you dont need it. I cant find a solid answer. Maybe you guys know. I fig even if i need a lift I can make it work.
I know on the solid axle the kit says there is the mount on the frame and then the mount on the drag link, the one that goes from the box 2 the tie rod bar.
It comes with instructions.. I've only installed them on 33+ sized tires though, they help. Stock size tires I don't think you need them but I don't think it would hurt any!
Yes the single is for any, the double says 3". I fig with 36's and a snow plow the double will do best. The kit is for Bronco-F350. If a F150 with a 3" lift can fit 35's, and mine stock can fit them, the dual kit can fit on mine. I hope lol.
I have the single stabilizer on my F150. It helped a lot with the tedency to wander.
Pushing 200,000 miles and everything is a little loose. Steering is not tight now, but it is reasonable.
